Well that's old news. The beta testers have moved onto to switch failures now.

The good news is there is still plenty of room on the flatbed tow truck
to display your new bikes around town.

You know, silver lining and all.

They will be moving to a subscription only service soon. No more worrying about bulk payment up front.
Just "activate" your bike once a month at the local dealer for a monthly fee of $800...Software updates included in the price..:deal

Activation module and Wifi kit sold separately.

Ky Gel will be provided free.

This is so KTM, they build a great bike but just miss a few so very important details such as it has to start and run every time you want to go for a ride.

If you're a S10 fan, you're throwing rocks out your glass house on this particular point.

Mark's post kinda' peaked my interest, too.

It's no secret that my 950 SE had a myriad of character "nuances".

As far as the Super Tenere, the ownership experience has been the exact opposite; It's been ready to go, on a moment's notice, everytime that I have thumbed the trigger. :knockonwood

    :lol3

Never failed me, but I get the point. But I am glad that the occasional hiccup is all that may be a small possibility.that is easily fixed in seconds. But to date that is all I seem to have on the books to think about much.

Seems the S10 glass house is at least made from 12mm toughened laminate.

Anyone know if you can remove the 2 attachments that the wind screen is bolted onto?
Since I prefer to ride with removed screen I would like to remove those 2 but without cut them off.
Grateful to find out if it is possible.

No, that is part of the main headlight stay. It's an intregal part of the front structure and most everything is bolted to it.
23P-28356-00-00 $80 or so if you want a spare to cut down, and are willing to wait a while to get it.

Mark, I can see the where perhaps some levity could help this thread occasionally, but 'glass house?' One bike has an occasional rich start condition, which is easily overcome by opening the throttle. The other won't start because either the engine went KATOOM, or the bike has an electrical problem.

And YAMAHA didn't put the cart before the horse. What kind of operation requires local programming of the ECU before the bike will start, but ships the bikes to dealers before they ship the specialized programming modules? AND they allow dealers to sell and deliver to customers with the bike in that condition?!

Our 'glass house' is starting to look like 'transparent aluminum' now, is it not?

The media and Mark. You gotta love the hyperbole.

WTF are you on about ?

If you mean the start problem, I had that once. Had the common sense to realize it was flooded due to me messing with the ignition and just whacked the throttle open to clear it. No problem.

You really ought to think before typing. Your negative attitude is getting tiring as it has little foundation. You may have had a starting problem but you now know how to deal with it. If you really don't like the bike, sell it to someone who will and and go buy another bike.

Either way, FFS get over it.

I have a new handlebar: Protaper Raptor.
When I saw it on the bike it looked too high but I tried today and itÂ’s perfect to my size.
