BW, off road only, awesome bikes. I always wanted one. I had a 73 RV125, when I was a kid, my bikes had to be dual sport. Mom and Dad's rule, with their money.
So when I was going from street back- dual sport TW made sense. Plus good condition BW are pricey.

They made a 350 version also. I'd love to find one to play with.

The Big Wheels are fun but only made for a couple of years and parts are ridiculously pricey....the 200 is a dog compared to the TW200 and the 350 version is a hoot but really just a collector's item now...

My TW may be getting a sibling. The TW is staying, I'll still be having fun on it. It just means to much to me. But for now I'm able to handle something with more power& speed. My friend's all have bigger bikes and it's more fun to keep up, than constantly asking them to slow down, on pavement. Speed limits have been raised too causing some issues. So while I can I'm going to. If my deal this fall fails, I'll wait till spring. Maybe the fever will be over by then.

Hoping to get a DRZ that's had suspension lowering. If not that one the DRZ or will get an XR650L.

TW or should I say the deathwing met it's match today. Picked a bad line going up a very steep hill that was a thin layer of dry sand like dirt with clay underneath. Had to cross a rut halfway up the hill bike bottomed out and fell over. After that couldnt get it going actually popped a huge wheelie spinning the rear wheel, lucky the bike didn't come down on me.

Still very impressed with this bike. Wasn't the steepest hill I've done on the bike but the longest hill of that grade I've tried. Main culprit was the deathwing clogging with clay.

The TW200 is a fine machine . Hopefully production will never stop.......I'm aware the EPA is evil , so , time will tell. : )

I hope it stays around as well. Trump, I think, has pulled back the EPA's overreach.

I hardly think ongoing reduction of pollution/emissions from new vehicles can be considered a problem. ...certainly not an over-reach, even if we don't like how it makes our bikes run. How about getting a TW200 with fuel injection? That wouldn't be a bad thing eh?

Yes, it would. If somebody gave me a TW with fuel injection (and I couldn't sell it) I would pull off the fuel injection, fuel pump that feeds it, and computer that controls it, sell those items and replace them with a $23 Chinese carb. Then use the rest of the money from selling the scrap to retrofit a kickstarter.
