Hi I am doing something similar as you have done.
Most of mods im doing myself. My target is co petitive rallye budget bike. I have proly chosen wrong base. But im too far in to switch. Bought bike this march.
I have done wp fork 18 wheel ohlins complete custom rallye roadbook tripmaster dashboard exhaust front fairing back side mods etc.

Have you done hymec clutch? I got some installTion issues :)

    Hi!

Well.. I think you can ride a rally with the Tenere but I don't think it could be competitive.

What are you going to do with the rear suspension? same travel?

No. I didn't do anything with the clutch, does it work well?

    My suspension travel is 300/240
    Front is whitepower mxma48
    Rear is ohlins with reservoir

About the clutch its hydromechanical. Theres actuator piston at clutch lever in the engine. Goes smooth lets say 20 percent less force is needed to push it.

Mine is 310 front but 220 rear... I would like more travel rear, can you give me the reference of your Ohlins?. Thanks.

    Is it this clutch?: http://www.off-the-road.de/en/XT-660Z/handlebars-more/Magura-Hymec-Hydraulic-Clutch-XT-660.html

I was tempted but from now my clutch works fine and was a bit worried about fiability. Are you happy with it?, do you recommend it?

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

The Tenere rear shock travel has 200 mm (OEM) so is this Ohlins designed for other bike? 40mm difference is a lot.

Please keep me updated about the clutch... it could be my next upgrade. Mine is ok to work with two fingers but after a long ride I miss the hidraulic clutch of my Sherco enduro bike.

You must be very tall. My seat is 91cm aprox and I reach tip toe (I'm 1,78)
The ground clearance with full tank is about 27 cm in the lowest point.

ask OTR. They are stating 300/240 for those in their built EVO bike.
I m just assuming mine is similar, I might be worng, its not really possible to measure it or is it?

About the clutch. Still got mounting issues, yesterday i was changing clutch lever geometry at the engine for more travel and removed original spring. Now it works ok (im not sure if cluytch wont be damaged without release spring though).
Changing my mind from not worth investment, it goes probly more than 30% easier than original clutch. Really comfy especially when im standing.

Yes, I will ask, I'm curious.

My concern with more travel suspension is that i will not reach the floor! :cry

How tall are you? Is your rear wheel 17" or 18"?

I got 18 wheel from otr same as you. I 1.81 i can easily put one feet full on peg and on on ground. No way i can put both on ground but whats that for :)
I got lowered kahedo seat by 2.5cm bike got raised by mizu links by 3.5cm

Today i was riding with friend ktm 200exc he wasnt able to catch me in light terrain. Fields/mud. He called my build its like bulldog. Its hard to maneuvre it in the forest though :)

Yes but just for some time meanwhile the Akrapovic is repaired.
A stone broke the carbon shield and it is been repaired for a titanium one.

This is an exhaust my dealer lent me. It come from a Yamaha YZ. I think is a Arrow. It is nice and work well but it is too noisy.

Yes I really like it in titanium.

If you mean the shield in the pipe it comes from ACD. The same people that build the sump guard for my Super Tenere.

Shield have close to zero function :) its shielding thick steel pipe.
Got the same exhaust (titanium/carbon akrap), nice mounting plate btw (its custom I assume). For me its yet to find possibitities for second clamp (got it home, but im lazy for mounting it now).

Have you changed springs in the fork from YZ?
What about rear suspension have you checked OTR? Is it 240, is that max?
