    Probably the next week.
I took this pic from my friend Nicci to show you how she can look.
Not the same colours. I would like to have the grey but with white and red vinyl...

It is better to put in a second bearing in the sprocket carrier, this prevents it from twisting, make also the life of your chain less hard.

I did 160.000km with my Tenere then I sold it.

BTW: the ABS version has lower suspension. So when you want to go off road, the older version has advantages

How much did you get for it, if I may ask? :)

Jaumev, you going for the single sided Akra?
I'm curious if you going to put some Luggage possibilities on it as well.
Got the Kriega Overlander on it.

Wow, that is serious mileage. How was the engine after all those miles?

Yeap... in Spain you only can have the ABS version, if you like it without it comes from France.

I replaced the piston rings and valve seals at 130.000km because it consumed more then 1L/1000km. After that the oil consumption was negligible. The transmission became the next problem. Shifting was sometimes blocked and I found out it was a dog broken from one of the gears which was laying under the shifting fork.

    Other problems:
    - short circuit in the power cable of the fuel pump, cable is located under the tank. Use a tube to protect the loom.
    - Rectifier 2x under warranty (2nd time they replaced the complete loom), the third time I soldiered a KTM rectifier directly to the loom and place the unit on the gray side panel. The connector is the problem because it is located in the spray of the front wheel.

I sold the bike for €1500, the new owner replaced the engine.

I know, I was surprised when I saw this location for the rectifier.
Any experiences about changing it in another place? :ear

Yes, fantastic bike and great rider.
I like it a lot but I don't know if I'm going to go so far. I'm not going to race, my bike must be an all road bike.
But we never know... I would like to go step by step testing and enjoying every modification.

JaumeV, Absolutely awesome bikes, you are very fortunate. I would buy the small Tenere in a moment if it were available in US. I enjoy the photos. Best wishes from Texas. D.
