So I'm new to the area. Girlfriend said that I need to go find some like minded people.
Wondering if there are any ADVrs who are in my age group late 20s?
I can't find any motorcycle clubs that do ADVENTURE riding. This is not an adventure; meet on a Sunday morning at the coffee shop, have a coffee and a pie, ride for a few hours on the hard stuff follow the leader, stop at a bakery, have another pie, get on your bike and ride home.

I've done a number of small trips around VIC on my own. Little bit dodgy as I came off, lucky no major damage.
Want to do some bigger trips through-out Aus and possibly abroad.
Drop me a line if your in the South East Vic.

    KiwiTiger. :D

Christ you are reckless. Not only has your bike fallen over, but so has your pic. Or was that the way you were lying when you took it.:muutt

Nah KiwiTiger, you won't find many young uns around these parts.

I think the cool kids of your generation are too busy lining up for ithings, hair gel and double decaff rain forrest alliance lattes with a twist :D

If you are wanting to ride your bike further than the local cafe with some company, you may just have to head out with some of the old farts...:rofl

Your more than welcome to head out with our Tiger squadron (chek out some of my ride reports or send me a pm) but we finished our 20s a long time ago...

Hey I'm not too far from you, have just done 1300kms in 2 days to far east Vic cross country all the way.
Am away for a few weeks but will let you know when I'm planning another one.

Btw, am a tad older than you but I know the type of ride you describe, not my thing either.........

Too true, well they are missing out aren't they. My Dad took me out and showed me the outdoors via Scouting, I haven't looked back.

    Welcome to the site. :D

Did you go to a local Scout group to where you now live? :ear

You will have a great time on one of scaredofthedirt's tiger trio's rides. :clap If he is also Sir Francis from Austouring. :huh

Or tack onto some of the other "old farts" rides. Most of them will not be a hinderance to you, I am sure.

Hi Canary, no I came to Aus when I was 24, just prior to the GFC. Was a boy scout and a soldier in NZ, hence 'KiwiTiger'. Couldn't afford a motorbike in the land of the long white cloud so I bailed, saved up and bought me a nice big adventure bike! :clap
    Sounds good to me!
