"Then" and "now" was in these photos be a metaphor.
On the first picture the old, eternal mountains with contemporary built road.
In the second picture rape flowers, symbolizing the eternal work of farmers with modern built motorcycle.
And the third picture eternally existing sea with modern built bridge.
But maybe you're right, maybe these pictures were not a good idea. If so, please admin to get them removed.
Please, just move the pics, not remove... the pics are great!!

I found this photo of Rock Lake WA and the old Milwaukee Road from about 100 years ago, seemed like a good then & now candidate:
My boys and I hiked in today and found the exact spot pretty easily. It has been 30+ years since the railroad was abandoned, but it is still fascinating terrain and a long ways from civilization.
