Absolutely amazing! Love that part of the country!
I have been to most of the Utah & Colorado locations that you have photographed, and I must say that your images definitely capture the beauty that is the American West.
Thanks alot, TooTallRacing, Davethestick, frontiercat, & Hondo!
If you guys liked this one, I hope you didn't miss my other report from this summer: WAY UP NORTH - To The Arctic Ocean & Back to Arizona
I really need to buy me a better camera and practice or take some classes. Your photos are amazing.
Hey Dave, Let me add my compliments for both of your ride reports this summer!
Great report with all awesome photos.
Really love the way you put your effort in every pix you took.
I am sure you have spent a lot of time for them so that we can enjoy up here.
Thank for share.
Well said Arjones! Thank you Dave for taking us along on your adventure! You truly do have a talent to inspire!
You never cease to amaze Dave, thanks for the pictures and for taking us along!
Spectacular pictures and an excellent narrative. I love the areas that you traveled through. I frequent them as much as possible. I never grow tired of the solitude that one can find in the great Southwest.
Fantastic ride report! It was great to view some of my favorite routes through the perspective of another!
Wow!! :eek1 I vote 5 stars! I will make sure to do a trip to Utah and Colorado someday. I see why so many Canadians move to Phoenix!
Can I get that one in bigger res for desktop? Edit: Stole it from smugmug
NICE ride report and pics Dave. I found the link on the murals thread. My wife and I were ahead of you about a month. All the Aspen higher up in your photos with no leaves left were bright yellow for us. And the yellow you captured was still green for us.
I take all my pics with a Sony / DSC-HX5V point and shoot. It does pretty good, but I don't doctor up the photos after shooting them. It's an art that I might need to explore. I also need to stop more and take the time to frame more shots. 99 % of my pics are rolling shots. Most of them are not cropped.
Thanks for quality. KEN
Our 2+ week trip that started on 09-12-2012 Touring the Rocky Mts. on a Harley
(The ride report was done during the ride. )
Thanks Ken. You definitely covered some of my favorite roads. Nice report!
