You're fucking weird man, but I have to respect your ability to post logical, non-emotional responses to all the attacks. :D

Fuck it. It's a flea market, sell whatever and as much as you want. If the buyer and seller are happy who gives a shit?

Now as far as fuckers that requote the entire garage sale...:gun2

It's also good karma to donate something back to this site if you sell a ton o'stuff. http://www.advrider.com/Donate/Donate.html

About two years ago, when I sold all my stock bike parts that I had replaced with cool stuff over the years before, I sold almost all of it on ADV Flea Market, then what was left went to FleaBay. Turns out Orange Crushers want stock parts; who knew? Stock Handguards, grabrails, stock and aftermarket clutch slaves, stock gas tanks, etc......

Gladly gave Baldy $50. Probly shoulda gave more.

It's not the first time I've heard that....but you must have missed my first post on this thread :lol3 I've thought about donating to the thread when I can, but I've had another nagging thought that I can't seem to shake. I'm more inclined to see if there is an interest in the group to put together an event to raise money for Toolfan's family. I'm not sure where, but I knew him from somewhere. I guess the 40 years of riding must have shaken some stuff loose, I'll remember your face or what you ride, but not your name. I'm thinking that using either one of the established events, or something like what TourPro was doing at his place (and should do again) would be a great way to help out a young family. We could add a yard sale of bike stuff to the event with the proceeds being donated to the family. You'd probably pay a few extra bucks for an item if you knew the whole thing was going to go to the family wouldn't you? I would, and I'd help with the logistics of setting it up. I saw the funds being raised for the family, and it's great, but it's only going to put a dent in what she'll need for the next few years. When she doesn't need it anymore, we could find another rider family to help, and keep a great event in place.

    Your thoughts? :ear:ear:ear

Thanks for quoting it- on ignore I don't have to wade (hi Wade) thru all the pictures of stuff 4corners has put up, but I miss the conversation; which is 99% of why I'm here.

hey 4corners! I hope to meet you in person at a motorcycle function and share a beverage and a fire ring; anyone who can take this kind of abuse can't be bad in meat space. :lol3

    So.

You want to sell two pairs of your used pants.

    Are they special pants?

No. They are not special pants. No Kevlar, no rhinestones. Just Carhartts.

    Huh.

Maybe.... maybe they are lightly worn? Maybe tried on after removing the tags, and realizing you have no blouses that match, and they can't be returned?

No. They are well worn, have some staining/discoloration, and have holes in them. Well. At least the holes didn't get any bigger in the last year. That would really drive down the value of these well used pants.

    Huh.

I'll assume that realizing that they are old and well worn, you want to trade them for maybe a couple of six packs of beer, or something of similar value.

    Nope.

You remind people that they sell new for $55 a pair, and that people making offers on your well worn, discolored pants with holes in them should keep that in mind when they formulate an offer on said pants.

    Awesome.

Do you have any XXL t-shirts with armpit stains on them you'd like to sell to so with the pants?

If I offer enough for the pants, will you throw in some 2-3 year old used boot socks for free?

    Let me know ASAP.

    Thanks.
