A 43 year old plastic helmet shouldn't give anybody a "Bone-Aire". Make a flower pot out of it before it kills somebody.

I like the rotopax mount for the Wolfman racks, looks like it'd be pretty easy to make, a plate of aluminum and some clamps. Might steal that idea......

Divorce sucks, hope you can keep the bike as an escape from the bull shit that comes along with the situation.

It not only continues, it gets WAY better. You can't see it now, but some day you will want to thank her for setting you free.

Every guy should have an exit plan. Current and complete. When you find yourself dreaming of freedom it means you've been too long without it. Saddle up boys there's a brother in need-

Boom this is the truth. Don't know what went wrong and not my bussiness but for me when the bomb hit it was better in the long run and I'm way happier. Best of luck and sure hope you can keep the bike, mine kept my sanity in an insane part of my life

Thanks for the kind words, guys. It won't be the worst thing that's happened to me, and I'll get over it. But I don't think I'll find another Dakar as nice.

Incidentally, after the ex moved out, I lost about 30 pounds. Must have been more stressed than I thought while she was here. (I'm a stress eater.)

Make the ex regret. Find something even nicer than the Dakar and make it your goal.

Hah, I hope not. I like being 195-200lbs better than being 230.

That's no shit! A divorce was the best weight loss program I ever had, but unfortunately it all came back plus some.

I wonder if it would work the same to get another divorce and just keep living together with the current wife..?

If anything like mine you could by 50 lifetime memberships to a gym for less than the cost of the lawyers, down side have to work out at the gym instead of curling 16 ozers
