Yep. I call it Gudgenby.
So where, exactly? A through road, other than the Tharwa /Namadgi track? Or at least another option
Its the main drag Tharwa to Shannons. The high clay bit.
I've done that road possibly 30-40 times, never in the middle of winter, amazing pics.
I got to get down there this winter, thanks for sharing the pics
Is it open throughout the winter months or do they close it, from time to time.
No snowboarders amongst us...this is the comms tower on the top of Mt McKay.....here.. 36°52'29.62"S 147°14'35.42"E
The pretty valley with the lake is ....wait for it.... Pretty Valley Lake....
This peak in the background viewed from the tower shouldnt be too hard to name...the area has been in the headlines lateley...
well tickle me arse with a feather..
No thanks Unc.
This area might have been shrouded in smoke lately perhaps.....
Being half local was gunna let a few others have a crack first.
And by the way Ray/Tripod/whatever your name is today, I spotted one of your bridges a few pages back as the "Waterworks" bridge nr Albury airport, but am still learning how to drive the iFad and can't cut and paste the pic.
New DR seat giving you grief Unc?
OK, lets get going gents!3 tractors, right on the roads, whos been paying attention?I know for a fact Unc has been past the first two, the third is on a road a little less travelled , but one of my faves, all in NSW, but one only by the skin of its teeth!
Well it's obviously Feathertop then. Have you put that bloody fire out yet?
Mt Feathertop ....rain yesterday and much cooler temps have put a lot of the fires out...still some burning..the roads are still closed from Harrietville to Hotham and Dargo ..
Another view of Feathertop from Stony Tops Tk...
the one in the foreground in the first pic is an Inter A554; you were wondering what the tractors were, right?
looks like I wasnt paying attention Bob......could it be near the village where the local store store burnt down a few weeks ago..and the bridge was washed away..
Make & model of the middle pic would be a good get
also an international...she be a titan
The 3rd pic would have to be a Fordson Super major.
Oh and 2 a554s in the 1st.
Probably every road rider in Victoria would have ridden past this.....only metres from your helmet...what is it and where is it...
That's not your place is it Gra?
