    Inmates,

I'm 6'4" and 220 and currently have the Twisted Throttle 20mm risers on my Tiger, but it is still uncomfortable and awkward out of the saddle off-road.

I am desperately trying to get the standing position right for effective off-road riding.

    - Does anyone have experience with this amount of rise on the Tigers?
    - Is anyone a direct decedent of Lurch like myself and they made the bike more comfortable out of the saddle?
    - If you have used these, did you have to reroute control wires etc?

    All help appreciated....!

I have 2" rox + 1" other risers for 3" total. Helped for me. Cables seemed to have room, but it turned out that when turned to full stop they were sometimes hitting the projection (?) on the front of the frame. This lead to a short and a stranding. Fixed now by simple rerouting of cables, new cables not required. Much better height for me. On my third seat however, the ergonomics are not quite my friend.

BTW, the 3" rox seem a much better solution than my combination, though functionally identical. New product?

^^^^ Thats great! Old Spice would not be needed for that ride... Thanks for the input, going to start with risers and move foreword from there.

On the seat issue... I HAD to buy an airhawk seat cover because I feel the stocker is just bruuuuuutal on long rides. I don't mind it for daily commuting but after a few hours in the saddle its pretty bad....

i think 2 inch rox risers are about all you can safely get away with before cables need replaced. I put the 2 inchers on mine, and with the bars rotated a bit rearward, there was too much tension on the cables.

I believe a 2 inch rox riser with lower pegs may be the best option.

I hear ya, the slant kept me sitting on the boys.

I shaved the foam flat and added gel, totally different seat now, super comfortable, best of all was almost free :thumb
