I used to love that place until they shaved off a huge chunk of it with the new fencing. You used to be able to get in 80 mile loops but now you have to zig zag around to get 30-40 miles in. Not the same imo. To me desert riding needs to be some vast expanse of riding.
I swear. You are like 100 yrs old.... when you and I gonna finally ride?
lmao. more like exactly half that. Born during the liberation of Jerusalem from from the infidels. Id love to hook up to ride with you but dealing with elderly parents issues I never know until last minute when I can ride.
I’m exactly half that too. You just let me know where and when you goof.
Nice garage collection!
Grew up driving past that place a few times a year and oogling at the trails up the hills....
Still haven't been there since I started riding. So jealous. Always looks like a blast
The photos are terrific and make me want to go there. Thanks for sharing.
Didn't recognize that goofy dude without his mad max helmet Great pics though
Is Mattawa ride-able through the winter? Does the dirt turn into mud cake when wet?
3-1/2 hrs from PDX. Lets find out!
Definitely and I sure hope so!!
The videos are encouraging. Will keep this place on the radar for a possible late Dec ride.
Mattawa is good to go until it ice's up and get below temp's/windchill factors you're not willing to ride in.
