Kent - try asking the question of you can keep up with you at Trailfest this weekend:

    http://www.dirtrider.net/forums3/showthread.php?t=182763

Moorestown Michigan. 10/20. Get to ride some of the Jackpine enduro event trail, a great meal included. Fun times. $20

Oh..be careful who you ask if they can keep up with you at Trailfest - good chance it would be a AA, A, or front of the pack B class enduro racer...so bring your best game!

I am none of the above (just a washed up used to be B rider, now at back of the pack)..and may be there myself (not entirely sure yet).

Oh, and I am probably not fast compared to real racers... Do you think they would mind if I just showed up late and hung around a little bit?

Anybody going to the Sno Drift rally car race in Atlanta / Lewiston in a few weeks? I may go, and camp with my brother a few nights.

Seeing that one of the stages is usually only 3 miles from my house, I just may take in a stage or two. If snow conditions were right for it, I might even stud up the KTM and do it on my bike.

I'm in Traverse City, but don't have anything to play in the dirt with...that has a motor, anyway. If anyone wants to beat pavement, let me know!

If anyone up here in the north hadn't heard of it yet, there is going to be a bike show and swap meet this weekend in Kalkakastan at the Kaliseum. My neighbor told me about it, I think he is taking up a bike or 2 to show off. Its my boys 5th B-day that day so were going to take him to see the bikes. Its a win-win for me and the boy and hopefully we can get momma excited about the bikes too :evil

Anyhow, I dont know when I will be there, but I will be there... Somebody should go and set up an ADVrider stand, sell some ADV gear and decals... Mostly because I want to get 2 stickers (one for my toolbox and one for my bike)

    Heres the link: http://www.trouttownmotorcycleshow.com/index.php

    Enjoy your Saturday :beer

A bike show sounds tempting. 99% of motorcycles around here are cruisers though so it'll probably be a Biker Show. I think I'll pass..

On Saturday there will be a "Family Enduro Series" enduro race. It is oriented to the young or new riders wanting to try out enduro racing - fun time and great people. they have classes for all ages - from buddy class (you will see 3 year olds there!) to adult classes. Great way to learn about the sport and find out if you want to give one of the D14 full tilt events a shot. Fun to spectate as well. Here is a link to at flyer: http://www.d14enduro.org/flyers/2013/2013_arbor_day_enduro_flyer.pdf

On Sunday we will have our annual tree planting. Sort of our way to give back to the sport, by helping protect our right to ride - and repair the damage made by irresponsible off road riders. Flyer here: http://www.d14enduro.org/flyers/2013/2013_arbor_day_tree_planting.pdf

Unfortunately, I dont think I will be able to make it to either - but check it out - great time.
