    I have a treat for you guys today, a couple of very special bikes turned up at Jack's this lunchtime, one a truely original unrestored classic, the other a modern take on a classic superbike, but more on that later.

    It says triumph on the tank, but it is a BSA Lightning...

    Now how about this, an unrestored Honda CB72 from 1965, who was it that said they would never last? The seat has been recovered, and the silencers needed replacing but that is as far as it goes, the rest as they say is how it left the factory 48 years ago.

    How many restorers would know this sticker goes on upside down? when the frame was hanging in the factory spray shop, it would have been the right way up.

    Wow! OMG! Holy shit! That Trident is just over the top beautiful. I swear you see more old bikes in a day than I do in a year.

    Great stuff once again Kev,thanks for sharing.I used to have a 39 Triumph T100 with a Vincent speedo just like the one in the photos.Thats the nearest I'll ever get to owning a Vincent.:cry.

    Ok I was wrong!:eek1

    It is in fact a P&M = Peckett & McNab. but more properly called an RPS Triumph, and is a road version of the race bikes Richard Peckett produces at P&M, RPS abreviation for Richard Peckett Special.
