I'm making a little journey after work today. A journey to pick up a new baby.

I never quite managed to get off my fixation on front drum brakes, but I managed to find sufficient persuasion to get something other than a /5. :deal:evil

More later. Enjoy the suspense. I certainly am.

"Six-sigma" ACK! You deserve a treat. So's it a collection of fine looking parts or an actual assembled bike?

Woopig, it's in pieces. Was a restoration in progress when I got it.

AAAHHH! Don't even say it. Cut the red wire!!!! No more salmon swimming upstream!!!!

Got it home about 11 last night. Alot of stuff. I made a new friend which was nice. Great guy.

Got everything wrapped in cloth and bubble wrap still and it's all laying all over in my truck, still strapped down, and in the garage.
I'll try to get some pics when I have a chance.

The frame and fenders are pristine. Hand-painted pin-stripes.

The tank is rough and hasn't been worked on yet. Por-15 anyone? It's gonna need something, possibly a cut-open, sand-blast, and recoat and weld-closed type surgery. Either that or i'll be looking for another tank.

Didn't even try to get the hoske. It was immaculate... I mean perfect. I was hoping to barter or make an offer, but knew once I saw it I didn't have enough $.

He also unloaded alot of /5 and a few other surplus parts on me which I'll sort through when I can.

I need to basically take stock of everything and figure out exactly what parts I need and what needs work or just cleaning, etc.

I'm just thankful I have a garage now which means once the kids are asleep, I can sneak downstairs and work for an hour or two each night. No more laying in the dirt or the rain. Ya baby. :freaky

I'll keep you posted once the work starts.

Booj, I'm feeling doubtful that it'll all be together and working by spring fling time, but the GS is running fine and you're right... I owe the gang an attendance this spring.

No more finals, no more job interviews, no more kids being born, or closing on homes... I think i'm out of excuses. :D

I'm gonna need to get started on my /2 education.
