Cool. You should post some photos.
I know this ain't Rockies but it's not often you see one of these , 15 made by all accounts !
I really think Blake should get it , what say you ?
A wee bit of spit and polish and she could look like this .
What and lose those beautiful flames?
I like the one in your picture SO much better than the one in the ad.
I am biked out for a few weeks myself.
I may even have to sell a couple this summer and I have some built in redundancy now. :ddog
One of my high school buddies restored an Enfield Interceptor 750, nice bike and hard as hell to get parts for even in 1974
And quit tempting me when I'm headed to Vegas in the morning to pick up a bike.
But why go to L.A. for one?
someone needs to find out what this is all about. I just can't believe a semi original R100S for 2 grand ???
BMW motorcycle 1974 original 100 S. Yes that's right! Black with white fenders. $2,00.00.
I think i will ask for some pictures ??
Man, I'd love to add that to my stable!
1974 would be an R90S, wouldn't it? First year, too...
The R100S was a '77 debut
I saw that ad and thought about asking a few questions, but if it turned out to be something worth doing I couldn't have anyway
Right you are Blake. they did not start the R100S until 1976 ??
Sounds a little bogus to me.
We shall see, i asked for some pictures.
Here's a handyman's special!
A '79 Bug. He thinks the water pump is out.
So if you happen to have a water pump for an air cooled boxer, you could get this thing running right in no time.

Blake I think you are kidding with me ?
The one i posted is a bit special
The Indian Enfield Interceptor Chassis was designed and built in Bologna by Leo Tartarini (Italjet Motorcycles*) and fitted with the Royal Enfield MKII Interceptor Engine. These were made especially for Floyd Clymer from USA, who was the owner of the Indian name. It is said that out of the 200 originally ordered engines only 15 bikes were made before Clymer died in January 1970 at the age of 74. The engines were then taken by the receivers and sold on to the Rickman Brothers.
I was kidding a bit, I realize the Indian Enfield is a rare bird - I was surprised to find an Enfield anything other than a 500 Bullet, in Denver craigslist.
I have seen one of the Enfield Indians being ridden near Lyons a couple of times in the past 10 years. Don't know if it's locally owned though.
Very true! I'll be honest, I met the legend once....looked like this.
2000 Honda XR100 - $500 (C. Springs) pic motorcycles/scooters - by owner
Pretty good looking bike and pretty good deal on it too.
If anyone is looking for a very lightly used Triumph Scrambler, there's one at Apex Sports in Colorado Springs. It's not up on their website yet. They're asking $7895 + TTL.
2012 in matte green with 34 miles on it. Yes, 34 miles. Has the single seat with luggage rack, tach (not sure if they all come with one, but it shows as an option on Triumph's website), and a windscreen. I hate the screen, but someone apparently liked it. The pipes aren't even blued yet!
I rode it and was sorely tempted, but I cannot justify a third motorcycle, even though I'm single and don't answer to anyone.
Third Motorcycle ???? Now that is just silly.
I think what Marc means is"only three?"
Yeah...I'm still thinking about it...just figured I'd post it up here in case someone wanted to jump on it. Used Scramblers don't seem to be all that common.
