:huh I had the '69 version of this bike, when Kawasaki modernized their graphics.
Mine was a 4 speed/dual range with continuous loop shift pattern...
Otherwise the same rotary valve motor.

Vintage original unrestored 1967 Kawasaki Super lube Roadrunner C2TR motorcycle, 120CC.
Clear Colorado title in hand. Has 19 miles on it since it was tuned.
Carb and fuel system have been gone through, cables were checked and repaired.
New tires, shiny chrome, and original paint. Maintained by STS Powersports.
Kill switch has been added by them (only non-original part on the bike) to reduce battery kill.
Has typical chips/dings of a nearly 50 year old motorcycle. Odometer shows 3,201 original miles.
Seat has no tears, snags, or rips.

I took the bike on a 4 mile ride Saturday and really enjoyed it.
There is 1 part missing but is not a necessary part and it is readily available online for roughly $25.
It is called the fuel overflow pipe, part number 16116-001.

Bike is being sold as is, here are some of the features:

3 speed transmission, 3 down.
2 stroke bike, separate gas and oil mixed within the motor.
Dual sprocket for higher and lower speeds
Perfect Kawasaki seat, no blemishes
NEW tires, DOT approved
new battery
headlight/taillight working
Garage kept, clean bike that is roadworthy
Clear Colorado title in hand

Very clean 300 EXC. Fresh rear tire. Chain, sprockets and brakes in new condition.
Starts and runs great. Has carbon pipe guard, EE gripper seat cover, skid plate and shark fin.
Owned this bike from new. Best dirt bike I ever owned. Replaced it with a new 300 XC.
Hard to find a bike of this quality in this condition at this price

2005 SV650 Adventure - $3500 (tijeras)

[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

2005 SV650 Adventure Bike 12,000+ miles.
Extensive modifications to allow use in off-road conditions. Standard SV650 engine with 5000 miles on rebuilt engine, replaced main bearings. YZ 2001 MX forks with about 9+ inches of travel and Hyabusa rear shock and modified knuckle for 8+ inches of rear travel. Engine and oil cooler are protected by an aluminum rock guard. A steel crash guard has been added to protect the radiator in case of tip over. Spitfire Windshield added for protection during hi-speed travel on the highway. Rear rack has replaced the passenger seat for added storage on longer trips. Delkevic slipon aftermarket exhaust. Tires are Pirelli Scorpion Rally rear and Pirelli MT21 front and Shinko 705 front and rear tires included. Both sets of tires are in good shape with about 2500 miles on each set.

Overall this is a great bike for gravel roads and even 2-track with pretty technical terrain. Fuel mileage ranges from 45 to 55 MPG depending on usage. With a 4 gallon tank the range is up to 200 miles. The SV650 twin is smooth on the road and very nice in more technical situations also. This bike has the same engine as the DL650 but a more aggressive power band with 70 HP. Weight is about 400 lbs empty.

So, which dirt bike was better? The old 300 or the new 300?

"was" better? :dunno

All he says is it's the best dirtbike he ever owned.

That's a '99, so it's not that old of a 300....still a PDS bike and not a previous gen pre-powervalve, linkage shock bike like the '94-'95's.

they got incrementally better every year since then, but that '99 is clean and low hours - and not a bad deal IMO.
If I had $1900 in my hand I'd go see it in person.

hey Barko... :augie :D
not a scrambler like ours....but pretty nice original bike

you can barely make out the "gas gauge" on the left front of the gas tank - a length of clear plastic hose that shows the gas level.
brilliant idea

07136 actual miles. Oil Injected 2-stroke.
First production road bike with a Six speed transmission. Rare to see a running/working example.
Original paint except for fenders. Seat recovered about 15 years ago (nice job).
Everything works (some new parts ie:: Battery, Handle bars, Clutch cable, Engine seal/Gaskets/o'rings etc).
Chassis, Electrical, Fuel/Carburation and brake system gone through in great detail.
Rode it to Louisville for "cars and coffee" (83 mile round trip).
Factory key, Owners Manual and Colorado title.
Price is $4300.00

Use the sail boat to tour the coast of Baja, unload the Triumph and cruise the local barrio's? Hmm.
