This had me chuckling out loud. My Dad used to say "People who miss the 'Good Old Days' don't really remember the good old days!" I think this applies double to certain era bikes, plenty of power, but comfort, turning or stopping were not options available from the factory.

    1976 Honda Goldwing - $3200 (Fraser CO)

Beautiful vintage 76 Goldwing for sale. Low miles, electronic ignition, timing belt replaced, carbs rebuilt, good tires.
Original exhaust in good shape, beautiful period chrome fork brace. Has low profile windshield and all original gauges work.
Starts and runs smoothly at 80 all day long. Only year with yellow paint. Bars slightly lowered and note front marker light detail.
Have original bars, marker lights and hard to find rear seat grab bar. Fun to ride and beautiful to look at.
Looks good in the man cave! To be fair not perfect up close - seam in original seat starting to open, crack in one side panel and clearcoat fading.
    $3200 obo

Seems he's got his eye on something for Christmas too!

I'd say he's dreaming, but then again, there are people paying $60K, $80, +++ for new trucks these days.

My $1500 1970 F100 still gets it done just fine thanks.

I love those old trucks with a metal dashboard. Great for all the magnetic junk you want to put on it.:-)

Regarding the $22,000 truck, seems like all the stuff from that era that plucks baby boomers' nostalgia strings are going for big bucks these days. Heck, I got $10,000 last year for my non-restored, very non-original, rusty old VW Bus last winter:

I'm shopping for a Bug or Bus (love them both), and it AMAZES me what a ratty Bus will sell for. The Bugs aren't much better, but certainly closer to my budget.

1983 Suzuki GS1100E with Clean Colorado Title - $750 (Highlands ranch)

    :dunno

left side looks better than the right...

Yup the Big One Suzuki GS1100E
Read the reviews on this bike. Wildly popular
Cycle World Superbike of the year all 3 years the bike was produced 1980-1983
1983 being the most powerful of all 3 years produced
    Fastest production bike of 1983
Will outrun even most modern bikes
Starts right up runs like a bat outta hell
Both front and rear brakes work great
    Lights work
    Exhaust in excellent condition
    Bike never wrecked
    Speedo and tach work
Gas tank is clean and free of dents, has some light scratches but in great shape
Has awesome 12" headlight in perfect shape.
    Lots of new parts
New tires front and rear with less than 100 miles (see pics)
    New battery
    New grips
New handlebar switches (old ones cracked and not functioning )

I saved this bike from being scrapped by my neighbor who was gonna call a wrecker and have it hauled away.
He let it sit for 5 years and took it apart in an attempt to fix then lost interest.
It was too nice of a classic bike to just trash. So I purchased it from him
He had it halfway taken apart when I pushed it home
I spent Saturdays during the summer cleaning and rebuilding the carbs with new floats, jets and gaskets.
Carbs were then vacuum adjusted and it fires right up and runs great. Runs smoothly at all RPMs

I got new handlebar switches( still need wired in ) but installed
    Needs dash lights reconnected
    Needs turn signals
Need new ignition switch, it was completely frozen and removed( have hidden switch that controls ignition )
Have keys that fits all locks on the bike

Overall a good running ,smooth riding ,super fast classic bike
In decent shape with low miles.
Just needs a little work to finish not in bad shape for a 35 year old bike.
I was gonna finish it and use it but life happens
Just don't have time to work on it lately and wife is wanting it gone.
Have Keys and Clean Colorado Title ready to transfer.
Can be ridden away. Runs great
    $750

I'd rather buy the GS1100 for $750 than this for $9K (blatant evidence of the effect of drugs on blokes in Colorado).

This looks like a killer deal for the nostalgic among us! I love the old GS's, but the one I always lusted after was the Wes Cooley replica bikes.

I got a reply, he is willing to drop the price for me, $2400 paint job, wow, I always wondered what one of those looked like.....

It is high, however it has been thoroughly gone over and is in great condition for 45 year old bike. It is a classic bike that should appreciate in the future. I have much more than $6000 in it. Paint job alone was over $2400. How about $8300? I also have a 1972 Yamaha Ct2 175 for sale that would be a little cheaper. Keep in touch.
