Crazy. . . :confused Can you imagine the good dirt bikes (DR's and KLR's) you can get for that price?

In THOSE days the AT/DT series bikes and Elsinores were pretty neato as they were ahead in technology and the best we had. When it comes to bikes I have found that memories are a whole lot nicer that the bike actually was. I have a really hard time getting my head around a DT125 being a collector bike. But people will pay what they will pay. :lol3

I had a AT right after a run of Hodakas and that is what I cut my real dirt teeth on. We played dirt during the Hodaka era but when I stripped all the lights off of the AT and put a high Preston Petty fender on the AT, it was game on! :rofl
But basically, just another POS that is best left to memories.

I recent.y sold the CT-90 that I picked up a few years ago and am really, really enjoying not having any old bikes around to take up my time. That is basically all they ever did for me. Sure, I remember how cool they all were and rode them a bit but in the end, I like riding bikes a lot more than working on them.

A restored ( by someone else) '73 RD-350 would be cool though! :rofl
Candy apple red, not that fugly maroon that came out later........

That's funny, because an RD350 is pretty much maintenance free, right? Lolz.

If you really want one, you might want to chat with Alan. Just saying.

As I tell myself any time I consider a vintage bike "Nostalgia isn't what it used to be".
