I first rode this on my XR650L during the SheetIron 300 and it was a blast. I decided to take some friends up there to practice for trips we are taking further afield.

I'm riding an F800GS, as is Gangplank. JetdocX is on a Triumph Tiger, Cyath on his new KTM 990 Adventure and SpecialAgentNancy on an F650 Classic.

It's the first time I've taken the 800 out on the dirt.

    Hilarity ensues.

I started out pretty slow on the beemer, getting used to it on the dirt with Anakees washing out but they seemed to handle OK and I was getting faster.

I think I flew through there twice as fast on my XR during the SheetIron. The creek crossings were just puddles on Sunday.

    Hola Senor,

Where is the best spot to enter and exit Tomki going North to South?

Appreciate it. Looks like fun. I've done the Sheetiron a bunch of times, but never when Tomki road was part of the venue.

    Best,
    Dennis

    Hi Dennis,

I come up from the south and cross east to west. I'm guessing coming in from the west is the way to go when coming from the North if that makes any sense.
