Good for you, Chris!!!
Glad to hear it, Chris!
More power to ya. If you can fill your time building Airheads and sidecars, do it like you mean it. You can always do a parts inventory in future if you want, or not.
Just a very nice rig you show above and I can undertand the owner's big smile. Congratulations.
Do you work for beer?
Thanks Dok. I have been building sidecars for about 17 years and restoring BMW's for almost 25. It is a true passion of mine.
I have been known to work for beer.
I've had some comments about this going to vendors or flea market.
If this had been posted by the folks at Eurotech, it'd go into Vendors. If it was a private sale, it'd be in Flea Market. Since it's informational and posted only by a person that isn't affilitated with Eurotech, it stays here.
Thanks for the heads up guys and to the guys at Eurotech, sorry to see you go.
Old's Cool Mod
Just ordered a bunch of parts of my /2's!
That's a fabulous looking rig, by the way, Chris. Nice work.
A fellow's tempted to ask what size rims you laced to those airhead hubs?
I have the same front end (to use on the rig I'll eventually build) and might be interested to do something similar. If it's "cost effective".
Them there's 15" rims by 3.5" wide in the front, 4" wide in the back and on the sidecar.
So ... did you go by the brewrey to pick up that 12-er?
Nope! It's cheaper at the local gas station and a little closer A 12 pack is only $14.00
Good Luck with your new business. It is truly a labor of love!

Really!? There are dorks out there that take DAS RULES so seriously that they wrote you to tell on me?! Wow, they need a drink or a woman to help them relax...
Thank you for leaving it here so others may benefit. I am simply trying to help everyone.
You've got my wheels spinning again on that project.
It seems like just a few months ago that we were standing around talking about how burned out you were with Airheads and here you are up to your ears in em. Good on ya kid!
Anyway, this sounds like the perfect move for you to make. You'll be working for yourself, doing something that you love and dealing with people who are coming to you for the right reasons. It couldnt be better!
Happy New Year Chris!
*Update: Mr. Bower from Eurotech personally contacted me and explained why the shipping was so much. He refunded all of the Eurotech handling fees and only charged me exactly what UPS charged him to ship the item coast to coast. I was initally upset as I always ship USPS "parcel post" and avoid using UPS/Fed Ex. I am pleased with the outcome and his professionalism.
Tried to order a rubber piece for my shifter, they were out.
Hey Cordell, did you ever get that Beemer running?
