pretty close to done on this sherpa s. debating on what to build next.
i've got 3 relatively complete project bikes that need full ressurection. none are currently pretty. they all will cost about the same to do..
    here are my choices

1971 ossa stiletto - needs everything touched. it's all there. probably needs cases split/rod replaced. could be a very pretty bike.

cz 988.2 - turns over with spark. missing seat. not pretty now.

or turn bultaco model 53 125 lobito into 250cc street tracker. i have 5 or 6 parts bikes to pull from for this one, and i;ve got spare 250cc motors outthe wazoo.. would be just cosmetics and cobbling parts together...and i've just built 2 bultacos in the last 2 months, so it's all familiar in my head right now.

i'm thinking the bultaco next because it's easiest - all the parts to build it are here. and it could be a neato street bike.

the stiletto is probably deserving of a full on resto, which is probably more time/money than i want to spend on it right now. it's gonna be race season soon and i don't wanna get consumed by it.

the cz 988 is kind of a turd. neat to look at, but heavy and goofy. i'm afraid i'll put lotsa time into it and it'll still be a turd.

    pics of the potential victims.

ossa - all bodywork is there, just removed..as is the cylinder/head/piston

cz has spark and compression. missing seatpan, cover, exhaust guard etc.

lobito 125 (is it sits now, in an early sherpa s frame) i will put a 250 (or 370!) motor in it. street tracker. i bought it off craigslist a week or so ago. a friend picked it up, i gotta go grab it. it looks to me like the front wheel is wrong. and the seat is husky. will put astro bodywork on it maybe. it's really just a frame and wheels to me..everything else goes to the parts pile..

That's the project I like out of the ones you listed...speaking of getting to work, I should be out in the car hole working on bikes. :lol3

Personally I'd probably not do any of them, but which one do you find the most interesting?

Quirky bikes are fun! You could try to sell all three, more place in the shed and then get one other bike that turns you on. The wife might like it too, three bikes going, only one coming? :evil

i pretty much only do quirky shit. done all the bland ones in the past. space is not an issue, i can fit maybe 30-40 more easy.. fuck the wife. 10 in 1 out is better. :D

the stiletto is probably most interesting, considering it's relative rarity. the bultaco would be easiest probably. the cz, ahhh, i'm just not feeling it.

    A TS250/4 doesn't exist, only /0 and /1.

    But I meant an es250/2
