They are finally reissuing the old chicken skull deck. Unfortunately it looks like the background and shape are different from the original.

I'm 50 now. Three years ago I was over at my parents place cleaning junk out of my Dads shop and I found my old skate board. Took it up the hill for one last ride. My sisters Chihuahua took a run at me as I sailed past the house. Ran the little bugger over and hit the curb. I scrapped my elbow pretty bad but the dog was fine.

    Good times.

When I was skating regularly, it was my tradition to go skate on Thanksgiving morning. It's been a few years since I've really done anything hard\difficult, but I did manage to get in a little bit of time skating this morning.

I skated a lot in the mid-late 80's. Our rural neighborhood had a lot of kids the same age and we all skated, so there were several big quarter pipes, launch ramps, and the crown jewel was the 20 ft wide, 16ft high halfpipe across the street from my house. Smooth masonite, roll in, and great night lights! I never got rid of my last deck, a Vision Psycho Stick, GullWing Pro III trucks, Slimballs, Bones Bearings. I started using it again last year with my 2 sons. That resulted in a snapped achilles one day at the local skatepark, still trying to ride bowls, but I have been back at again this year and plan on getting a new (but still old school) stick for future endeavors...but here is the old one!

It's been roughly 7 years since I've skated. This should be arriving tomorrow :D
