I've just purchased my first KTM, a 2012 990 Adventure and am trying to outfit it. Have already received the CJ Designs tail rack. Now I'm trying to figure out the best top case to put on it. I want easy on and off but there are multiple ways to achieve this. I"m leaning towards the Pelican 1450 but was wondering what other inmates have used, such as the KTM Gobi case (which would give more storage capacity). I also don't want to interfere with future side cases. :ear

I'm currently using a Caribou top case (1550) because it so happens that my laptop and case fits in it and not the ktm top case. I simply mounted the Caribou mounting plate above the aftermarket plate that came on the bike. I used some spacers in between the two plates. Easy to remove if need be. Let me know if you want to look at it or if your in HR my bike is parked next to Doug's Sports most work days.

I'm selling the ktm Hepco Becker top case that came with the bike if your interested.

How much do you want for the top case and will you ship it to BC? :evil

I mounted a Givi conversion plate to my CJ, 4 bolts and liked having room for 2 helmets. I was more amazed that the setup lasted all the way to the tip of South America, offroad! For serious offroad loal days, it pops off. Full featured, it locked, locks to the bike using same key and you can have a high brake light.
