Personally I think it is great we finally have some people taking notice of the potential market for adventure gear here in NZ.

And people doing it directly from the source to sales is much preferred to the usual system of source>importer>distributor>retail shop (with markup at each step).

Are you going to have any retail stores selling/showing the gear? I would possibly be interested in one of the comfort seats for my 690 but the current $800 price tag is outside my budget by a fair bit.

    Thanks Chris,

I won't use Advrider to sell you something as that's against the rules but give me a call and I am sure we can work something out for you with a seat. :-)

I wish you well. You may be targeting the wrong crowd here. Many own older bikes etc.

There is a new breed of advrider out there you may wish to target. Brand new BMW GS or Tenere. Full adventure suit with helmet camera & GPS. Bike is alway cleaner than the PMs limo. Only gravel they see is roadworks on a State Highway.

A guy on TM is advertising Andy Strapz products & can supply them cheaper than you can get them direct from Andy in Oz. Good on him :clap:clap:clap

I have been pricing LED lights and contacted a agent here $260 each. EACH

from the USA. $310 NZ including freight for TWO

from Oz $350 NZ including freight for TWO

yes they are the same light

so I would like to support the local but he is clipping the ticket a bit much for me.

I would be tempted with a considerable price drop, but would still want to try-before-I-buy.
    Is that an option?

If they are comfy maybe a sharp price for group purchase is on the cards?

lol...thanks Pete but the Catalogue is FREE!!...now I am Scottish and FREE is good so I am sure you can afford that. But you will need to download it, so unless your ISP charges by the Mb it may cost you as it's fairly comprehensive!! :D

Thanks for all your feedback guys, as I said I am keen to hear from you and see how we can help you and the adventure riding sport! contact me on here in PM or check our website and either call me or email.

Hi Pete, yes that's a big difference!...I have requested some special pricing out of Germany for this one for you and I can get to $820. Sorry still a little bit over...I have amended the price of the unit online if you do want to go ahead.

I'm going to close this thread inmate NZ adventure will need to start a vendor thread.

The business related stuff can be freely discussed in vendors, when the new thread is started I'll ad a link here so all know where it can be found.
    Regards Russ
