Does anybody use the Touratech lockable mount for the Zumo 550?

    Is it really secure ?

I recently got one. So far nothing has fallen off or bounced away. On rough pavement it does seem to vibrate a lot.

I have the Garmin Zumo 450 and the Touratech mount. It all seems like quality stuff to me. The mount is "lockable", but anyone with a few tools or a Leatherman can easily remove the mount. So the lockable feature is only a slight deterrent to theft.

I use one mounted on the crossbar of my handlbars and it is rock stable. Did the Alaska thing last year and no problems. The "lockable" feature works well to deter "snatch and run" thieves but anyone with a couple tools can take/break it appart in 10 minutes or so.
