Everybody is buzzing about the new Sargent seat fo the F800GS. Is anyone using the Touratech seat...and if so, what do you think. I am just not diggin how the WSP seat messes up the look of the bike...I like the sleek enduro look, but my ass is killing me. Please give me some insight if you have it.

Just got back from 750 mile trip using a buddy's Touratech seat. No issues with comfort whatsoever. Looked good, felt good, and never thought about it. Which is the best thing you can say about a seat.

I had a custom built seat (looked like a bowl)...switched to the TT Touring Seat. I love it. Comfortable and looks great.

Is there any difference in comfort between TT:s Touring seat and TT:s breathable seat? I´m planning for the breathable seat because I think the touring seat does not look good on the black-yellow 800GS.

I have the TT Touring seat and I have the Yellow F800GS. The Touring offers more comfort where the "breathable" is more for off road riding where you are up on your pegs etc. The TT boys explained that the touring was built for comfort...and the breathable was built more for purpose against the off road elements with less pading.
Don't know if it is true or not...just relaying on what they told me. i went for comfort. :evil

I'll try to snap a picture later on to show you what it looks like on the bike.

BMW expandable - the "original cases". I decided against those and to go with the Adventure cases (the ones for the F800GS, not the Holan mount with R12 cases).

Thanks for the pics. The breathable looks better on the yellow F800GS, but it´s more important with function, so I will probably go for the grey high touring seat.

Can you share a little info on the "recess" that touratech refers to in their description? Does it really help? My biggext issue is that the stock seat puts a pressure point right on my tailbone. Thanks.:rofl
