Iseki grey market import, 2 cyl diesel 4wd with a FEL and PTO rototiller. My brothers rigged up a 4ft box scraper for it. Best thing I have EVER bought for my wife; she definitely enjoys it more than her jewelry!

Lanz tractors are cool, I was amazed the first time i saw one in person by how narrow they are, in pictures from the side I always imagined them as big broad engined things. Like the case cross mounts.

Dad has a Kubota B2100. Cool little thing that has helped us transform our backyard into something useful.

Prolly 205, but have you 8N fans seen the Boomer 8N by New Holland?

We run 6 tractors on the farm and they are simply unreplacable! But to add to PBG's statement (which is dead on), I recommend filtering diesel fuel before (or while) putting it in the tractor. "Off-road" diesel is not the cleanest stuff on the planet and this practice has really helped to avoid fuel troubles.

Ya I've seen that, my personal feelings are that you get a better deal buying the New Holland branded product.

Shuttle shift gear transmissions instead of hydro's, alot less $, for instance the Boomer 3050 msrp 23,623 8n 29,900.

You could even get a 4055 msrp 26102, which is a larger more powerful 55 hp utility tractor, and have over 3 grand of other money to spend towards the FEL, or a Cab, or what ever else.

I think you spend quite a bit to get the styling they threw on the 8n, and I don't know if its really even that good looking. The 8N is not low slung like the original, and I really don't think that's worth 3-6K more than the other boomers.

That, and what homeowner needs a 50 horse machine??!

The original 8N had what, 30 hp?

As an aside, I had a job at work the last two weeks, on a 1941 9N, replacing brakes, axle bearings, seals (installed the shur-seals) and a 1 3/8 pto, and a new relief valve for the hydraulics. What a bear to do those axle bearings. Sweet machine, the engine had a 100% rebuild 5 years ago.

Something like that. Although with 2wd, and less hydraulic capacity that's plenty, not alot of people using front mount hydraulic sweepers and such in the 40's if you catch my drift.

Its a tractor that's not priced/sized for a homeowner, but has all sorts of style items, that well frankly if you are working with the tractor you'd rather not pay for chrome this or that, atleast in my viewpoint.

We're right by a CNH/Fiat group facility, so I get to see these things run around their test track. Can be kinda fun to see.

In the context of this thread, Kioti and Kubota.

Don't recall seeing an AC in here.
