Was having a blast out riding West of Albuquerque on Southern; right up to the moment I picked a bad line going over a 2 foot drop and clipped a rock that stuck out. I was able to ride out of the aroyo until the coolant was totally gone. I'm afraid my glueing skills won't fix this.

Did it only hurt the front nose, or is the tank done too?

The tank is fine, thank God. I went back to retrieve all the plastic from the site. I'm going to make this plastic repair a work of art.

Yikes. That's a $375.00 part. Expensive plastic. Hope you're good with glue. I didn't find my little parts to glue back together.

Thanks. I'd be all over those if they were blue, but until I move from this state, I'm afraid the minute after I paint and put those on I'd immediately drop it on another rock.

After you piece it together that would be a good spot for a nice big sticker.

Tried plastic repair and it went nowhere.

Found some Silver and Black and I'm going with it. I'll paint it when I decide to stop dropping it.

Anyone else notice how much more beefy the old 950 plastic is? I may replace both sides so at least they match.
