Hadn't planned on it but several friends are trying to talk me into it...
Saw these in use over the Death Valley Rally. Ordering right now. What a great product.
Thanks for the order! It's on the way, you'll should see it in 2-3 days by USPS priority.
Did you see the one I sent for a door prize or see them in action fixing flats? Any pics?
Thanks again THRASHED
I won the DV noobs trail stand, thank you so much.
Glad to hear from the winner! Let me know if you have any questions using it on your bike. If you get some pics when you do use it would be great to see them posted up here!
Had to break out the trail stand for a buddy that had a flat on his KTM 640. He really liked it and wants to order one. Several Hillbilly's saw it in action and want one as well. Will try to post a pic as show as I download them.
A couple, not ghey I think, from Mississippi, one with the ability to kill squirrels with just a look (990 trailblazer), really liked the simplicity of it and wants to order one. The group of 6 they were ridding with Saturday had 3 flats.:eek1
I sure will and thanks again!
thanks again steve for supporting the biggest ever rally attended by noobs...
dvnr2013 ride report here
great job cory for the acknowledgment and thanking steve.
This may be a basic request, but I wonder if someone could post a video of how to use this to prop up the rear wheel if you are by yourself?
Here is a picture.. easy peasy
Thanks for the pics snowball!
I dont have a video but basically you put the velcro brake lock on the front brake lever and stand on the right side of the bike after setting the Trail Stand to a good starting height you either lift the bike up onto it's kickstand by grabbing the subframe or swingarm and then placing the Trial Stand under the frame near the right foot peg, or you use your left thigh to nudge the bike up off it's rear wheel onto the kickstand and place the Trail Stand. It's a lot easier than it is to type it out.
Just ordered, what a great looking tool. Beats $200 for a center stand. I didn't see anyone using this on a F800GS though...we'll see.
People use them on big KTMs so it should be fine on the 800GS.
Just thought I'd let the inmates know here that I wont be shipping after today until Tuesday. Heading to COTA for the MotoGP races, any orders I do receive in that time I will let them know I'll ship on Monday.
Hope the ol' man Rossi teaches the kids another lesson in Texas!
Glad I caught this, just ordered stand, like the looks and reviews, but hope I never need it. AS IF oser
Have fun at COTA, closest I've been is the F1 racing simulator, maybe next year...
i meant to do it this morning, guess i have to wait a few more days till its in my hands.. oh well !
Trail stand arrived in ny on sat and is now in zurich! Thanks!!!
sent using my fingers and voodoo magic.
Just got mine, thanks for the great communication, product and quick service!
How was the race?
The race was Great! Marquez is the youngest winner of a MGP race ever.
Here's a pic from were I was on the first turn of the Moto GP race at Austin.
Pedrosa out front Marquez out wide at the top, Bradl and Lorenzo in tight behind Pedrosa, Rossi beneath Marquez in the pic, Crutchlow to the left and slightly ahead of Rossi and the two Ducati's in the middle.
I really noticed the difference in sound of the Honda's and Yamaha's, the Honda's sounded like 2 strokes, fast revving and high pitched compared to the Yamaha's that sound more like the Ducati's, guess it's the crossplane crankshaft.
i assume these have galvanising performed as mine was damp for a few hours and became rusty and covered in white powder, the inner rod being the worst.
I expected it to stand up to a bit more.
