I live in Florida and unsuccessfully scoured the Ocala forest several times looking for nice packed trails without having to swim (sink) in the sand for hours. From the pics this ride looks great.

Does anyone have the GPS track for the big bike route that you guys rode? It would beat having to ride up to Georgia and Carolinas to find that terrain...

Another request for the GPS tracks, I know many have spent a long time creating the route but for those who could not make the original ride would it be possible to get the route?

    Thanks in advance.

The few packed non sandy trails I've found in Ocala are usually under water. It seems if its dry enough some cool trails become useable. However, the rest of the sandy stuff gets worse.

After a decent rain seems like the best time to ride.

We don't have complete gps routes, if you want roll charts we can probably do that.

Sure! I'll take anything. There's a group of us that rides from Orlando to Georgia/South CA whenever we want to have fun, but it would be much easier if we can do it locally.

If it's in electronic format we can take care of following it thru and creating a GPS route for it. If you only have a phisical roll I can mail you a prepaid box+label so you can mail it back. I'll send you a PM with my contact info.

    THANKS A BUNCH!

The four pictures above were taken just after bike week 2014. There had been a bit of rain.

I got to bike week a week late. 72 year old brother Ron rode his KLR and I rode my DRZ using last years route sheet. Sorry we missed the ride but we sure enjoyed what we did. We had about 530 miles in those two days. Any chance we too can get in on this year's ride? Great article in the MOA magazine!

Nice Don, glad you finally got to ride over and back with your brother. PM me your email and we'll get you this year's route.

Will check out the MOA article, thanks for the heads up.
