i've been having shifting issues... 1-2 sometimes 2-3. false neutrals and very harsh like i'm clutchless upshifting and adding a little shift lever preload before kicking up. also i "blip" the throttle on down shifts using the clutch every time to help but the 3-2/2-1 ore horrible, it will kick out of 3 to N while attempting a 2-3 , never shift at all when it feels like a positive shift ( a blank indication on the dash for 2 sec or so then back to the gear i was downshifting from) and blah blah. quick background... i was a car mechanic for years, work in the motorcycle industry, coming of a 08 zx6r to a 14 gs lc and usually chalk it all up to me but i know i pull in the clutch and don't p**** shift it all the time. and i'm shifting all over reasonable rpm and GO!!!

What Bike are you talking about? I had this similar on my 1150. Not really popping out, but not shifting all the way in for a will. I have added MATE additive, used in Porsche motors for many years and now it shifts like a Jap's bike. I still get this from Germany when I go for a visit and you only need 50ccm for the transmission.

My 14 gs has done this since new. I barely notice it anymore. It's not you, it's the bike. I find a really fast partial clutch pull and toe tap drops it right in. I really notice it on my first few rides, then my brain remembers how to shift and it goes away.
