I've had this idea for a while. Purpose of this thread is to help people get bikes and possible other items moved. Not for transportation businesses but rather guys going one direction loaded and back empty. Costs just to offset fuel costs.

    I'll start,,,,,

I'll be headed to NC (Asheville area) next week and coming back empty with and enclosed trailer. I can provide transportation to upstate NY.

Every couple of months I travel from upstate NY to TX and vice versa. Sometimes into or out of LI. The route depends on my mood and my kid's work schedule. Through Indy, maybe Nashville, could go to St. Louis, up or down 81... I fly half the time also but it depends.
If I drive it's mostly with a pickup and the back is usually empty.

    Hi Marissa.

Sure I can bring it down on one of my trips. There's going to be quite a few in the next year or so as I'm moving to western NC. Closing on the house is this week!

Good to know! Scott are you keeping the place in Petersburg? Cause if Marissa does wave enough money at me to coerce me to sell (it could happen!), it would be a simple matter to get the bike out to your place.

You will be near us, let's go ride!!
If a deal on a low miles 990 doesn't pop up soon, this might happen. I've been drooling over yours since you posted it a while back. :p

I'll have the place in Petersburg for probably a couple years. The new place doesn't have a garage or shop so I have to build something before I can move the business down there.

    Sounds like a plan!!

Evening ladies. This thread is perfect. I run around northeast to southeast and beyond a few times a year towing some boats and things.

Doing a NE to south FL and back the end of March.

Side effects of this winter include my neighbors from Brazil are moving to CA :rofl
and I'd like to have a heated garage to work on the bike, snow thrower.

    There's this solar panel company:
Solar Panels Plus, 2133 Smith Avenue, Chesapeake, VA 23320
and a panel weighs 190lb, 80x100x5 inches unboxed. Usually shipped on a pallet.

Anyone go by there & back to MA zip 01845; want to help us go green & buy American? PM me.

    Thanks for the thread!:clap

I am looking to possibly buy a bike in Pittsburg PA, the problem is I don't have the means to fetch it.

Anyone doing any transport from there to Long Island anytime soon?
