Just as witold says, contact MedJet Assist.
They offer medevac that will fly you out when injured. I know from reports that they will send out a private plane
to get you out if necessary due to remoteness or to scope of injuries. For US riders who purchase the extra motorcycle protection rider, they will also retrieve the bike (in N. America only).
I do not know if they offer their service to Canadians, but check. It only costs you a phone call to ask.
By the way, members of BMW MOA get discount on MedJet. MedJet membership costs about $200 for a year as I recall.

WIth regard to medical insurance: I use InsureMyTrip.com to buy medical coverage for my trips. Again, I do not know if they offer this to Canadians, but you can easily find out on their site: just work on a quote- you will have to submit your state of residence.

InsureMyTrip provides quotes from many, many insurers and it is hard to make heads and tails of the choices. Basically, you are looking for medical coverage only. Often, they policies will offer medevac as well, but this is not the same as MedJet - typically, they will cover your airline ticket, which may be impractical if you are too injured to use air carriers. Also, policies have useless, but costly add-ons, like trip interruption, lost luggage, etc.

If you stick to just medical, the policies are faitly inexpensive. Last March, I bought a $60 medical policy from HCC via InsureMyTrip, covering my recent 2-week-long trip in Europe and Morocco. The coverage was for $1 Million medical, with sports rider surcharge.

Bottom line: I recommend MedJet (if available to you) in parallel with a commercial medical insurance.

    Good luck on your trip!
