    sorry , I didn't mean to highjack eather , I was reading two threads and posted in the wrong one ... :norton .. Main camera was a Sony CX/560 , a Go Pro , some random point and shoot and a I phone. Feel free to PM if you what more info

    There is a helluva lot to be learned from John Downs minimalist trip. Look for the ride reports.
    Make friends with local riders. Local rider knowledge will trump any map, Lonely Planet guide book, internet rants and raves, facebook, etc...
    When you have a local rider guiding you through, it is much more relaxing for you and you can kick back and really "see" what you are seeing.:deal
