amcross, The first 2 sections close to the clubhouse are new to me. We did ride on that trail though. 3-8 were all located at places that I originally cut in. It looks like there has been quite a bit of riding going on around the club grounds. When we first started it was quite overgrown.
There is a interesting story about section 8. The year that we first started riding trials at PMC, there was a body was found in that ravine! Not during the event or anything like that. I was always kind of creeped out by that.

    WOW, nodabs! CREEPY!!!

the 1st 2 sections seemed somewhat newer areas - not as cleared, still had some trash/clutter around, etc.

Got some Bike trial done yesterday. A very good thing to ride when you train to be a good trials rider.

Yah - the old adage that most sports only require one ball comes to mind. I think that Ian Lougher guy watched days of thunder too many times - "rubbin is racing.." holy crap.

I got to go see my first trials event last Sunday. I drug the family along, so my wife could understand why I want to get one. What a great family friendly sport! I think she is much more on board with the idea of me learning this, and teaching the kid(s) how to ride this way. ANYWAY... here is a video I put together of the one section we hung out at for an hour.

You're doing really well Eli,your score at Toronto was very good for just moving up to Intermediate.

I might suggest you lean the bike over onto your inside leg in the turns, watch the "Basic Turns" vid on the Trials Training Center website,go overboard and try to exaggerate while practicing until it's automatic.

Haha! Yeah, I keep stiff legging all the time instead of really getting my knees out and leaning the bike over. It is definitely something I need to work on. MikeC has told me several times to get my knees out. Needs to be automatic like you said. I also need to force myself to loosen up more. My Dad is building me a set of risers for my handlebars, which I am hoping will get me in a better riding position. I feel really hunched over and am constantly breaking my neck to see anything. I somehow managed to get 3rd place that day, so I was pretty stoked with that. I tell AMCross and Liz every event that as long as I don't crash and don't get last place it feels like a success to me! :rofl

I heard your name during the awards, but you had already left for the long trip back. If I remember correctly, someone was taking it home to you. Now that's service! :D

    Looking good!

I sure do like riding that location. I just wish it wasn't such a hike for me.
