had about nine rides now so figured it was time to join a trials club. went to their first summer practice session on the weekend and could clean the clubman sections (with practice) and even cleaned a C section but i think that was a fluke. pretty chuffed!

stitched together this vid of the sections set up for the A and B grade riders. i seriously doubt i'll get around to tackling this sort of stuff.

continuing on from the vid above, these are the intro and clubman sections we've laid out for summer training. tried the chest mount and boot mount out on the sherco 290, i wasn't sure if this would work for trials riding but it seems to work out okay...

This is a featured video over on Trials Central. It's just righteously sick:

That's Part 2. Part 1 is of the bike build, which is pretty cool too.

yeah i wasn't sure how well that would work but it gives the footage some interest given most of us are noobs to trials. i might be getting one of those backpack mounts where the gopro is sitting above and behind the helmet, that would give an interesting angle too if it doesn't get caught on branches or trees.

Don't want to hear any more talk about suspension travel, fancy shocks, more power! Lite weight is the answer. (super balance helps)

I've found some entertaining videos by googling "All Japan Trials". Not flashy or highly produced, just trials competitions. Lots of four stokes.
