That bike’s a whore (cuz I’ve ridden her, too).

    Welcome back to the road!

We are gonna set you up tomorrow. Should help a bit. Although I may make you listen to Christmas music in the garage the entire time.

Mostly because it's my birthday and I'll do what I want ;)

Not in person. I sent him a screenshot of your TriTOR tag. I had been trying to get him on the forum ever since I learned about it. His (former) bike finally made it, just without him.

Good luck on making your body adjust. Hopefully you’ll find the right combination quickly.

As someone with complete shit knees that rides bikes that require bending,
Very very important keep your knees warm. If my legs are cold mine will lock up and it's brutal.
I've found even the neoprene sleeves under my riding pants will help.
Good luck, and you'll figure it out.
When I first got my dr650 I had to have footpeg drops to ride, keeping knees warm and a few exercises let me ride that cbr954 fine.
That said, riding home tonight with just riding jeans, my knees are killing me.

Yep. Some deep knee bends / squats and range of motion exercises go a long way :)

Thanksgiving moves though... so it's not always on the same calendar date ... hasn't happened that often. BUT I can pretend tomorrow is thanksgiving if you're gonna cook up an awesome turkey dinner tomorrow. And invite me! And Ben!

Yeah, I had doubts in 2008 with a broken ankle and in 2014 with a "tibia plateau fracture " which I thought was a geological feature in Africa..

The first accident I really almost gave it all up.... sold tons of gear... motorcycles... the second was much more PT... but in both, it was personal resolve... to improve, to be better, to get back up on that horse and do better and enjoy the experience.

@HAL 9000 ..Sexy bikes indeed..I could buy any bike but i wind up with this one and its connected us on so many levels...its comical...
@Rugby...I never realized you had knee problems..I was ok until the accident..but now its like any knee flexion beyond 90* and it becomes rather painful....Lowering the footpegs seems to have turned the trick...which is a good thing because this is one awesome machine...even in 6th gear to roll on acceleratin will blow your mind..from 20 mph to well in excess of 100 in top gear this thing pulls like a freight train..
Tis the season to be farkling.....The list is growing longer as i slide down that slippery slope of adding comfort farkles...this could easily suck up alot more of my money but hey..might as well..I aint taking it with me when i check out...:deal
