If I could've done the feet forward thing, there's a decent chance I'd be on a Triumph Speedmaster today. I'm really glad I couldn't ride a cruiser comfortably.

If I was going coast to coast on slab, I'd consider a RK or similar. Otherwise, it just doesn't have much use to me that I can see.

A friend of mine rides KZPs. One is pretty much decked out as a cop bike. He has fun with it... :D

I just can't get onboard with the electric bikes. Other than 100% of the torque at all throttle openings, I don't like them. Nowhere near enough range to be useful. Or even adequate as anything other than a grocery getter. The offroad versions are worse in that regard. 25 mile range or so. Not even enough for one big loop at Brushy Mountain. And who's going to bring you spare juice when you get stranded even a couple miles from a trailhead at a place like NCMP?

Maybe someday, but no desire to be an early adopter on these.

My brother is selling his 2006 road king custom.
He sent me a text. He is retired air force and his bike is pristine.
He has back problems and doesn't enjoy riding anymore. I'd buy it if I didn't already own one.

Rugby would look cool riding an electric bike with a big solar panel on his head.
He'd have to be home by dark tho.:lol3

No shit. Last two years I've been riding over 80% of all days. The last week, I've ridden one out of 6 and that was just to Youngsville and back...

Need to get a Plan B in action here. This is getting ridiculous.

I did that yesterday and dropped the tag within a few feet of you and Rugby. Sat around all day waiting for someone, anyone, to move the thing... :D

I had to work both Saturday and Sunday. Was going to go grab the tag this afternoon, and as soon as I waked out to the garage, the bottom fell out again.

Was fully planning on riding to work. Raining pretty good in N. Raleigh when I left... Hopefully, it'll start clearing up around lunch.

Every day I look at the forecast. Every day it shows "tomorrow" being sunny, no rain. Every day I wake up to rain, and a new forecast, that shows no rain tomorrow. Groundhog day!

Going out for fish and chips for lunch, mate! Why is everyone driving on the wrong side of the road?

Actually just watched the local forecast on WRAL. Next several days, more clouds than sun, continual drizzle and showers. Holy shit!

Yep. The forecast changed for this afternoon. Now it's 60% until 11:00pm. The cretins can't even guess right a few hours out. Wonder if I should believe the "global warming" hysterics...

They said all last week, that the past weekend would be sunny and nice. The sun hasn't peeked through here, since last Sunday (8 days ago). I know this because I was out for a ride, and got rained on, with no cloud overhead, and the sun shining.

I'm sort of glad we are getting all the rain right now. I had a guy with a tractor level my yard as much as he could which made a lot of dirt areas. I got some grass seed down and it's finally starting to sprout up. When I get a little free time, probly this afternoon, I'm going to spread the other bag I bought maybe my yard will look like a yard again.

Happy you got your lawn done, but all things considered, I think I'd rather be riding... :D

Dontcha know weather forecasting is exactly the same as fortune telling... neither is accurate and both are worthless professions....
I tried to grow grass down here but the sandy soil was not good for Fescue...a friend over in Apex has a beautiful yard full of Centipede grass which will grow in sandy soil... maybe next yr...

Not a done yard by no means! Just fixing where my dogs like to dig holes big enough for a Jeep. Since I'm trying to sell, I figures I may as we'll cover the dirt with some grass. I never did get to that second bag. Today has not been a good day. It started with a REALLY crappy phone call to wake me up.
