If anyone grabs this, make sure to grab the NC tag too... Fairly close and all...
So... I got my son a KTM 50 for Christmas. Looking for a field I can take him to teach him. Does anyone know an area I won't get run off? And one I won't have to drive 2 hours or pay $50 a day?
NC tag has moved even closer to the TriTOR tag... I was gonna run for it today but i need to do some maintainence on the bike first...may tak a day to get back out there...tmrw is supposed to be colder...but itf you see what the midwest and northeast are dealing with...we are in pretty good shape with just some cold temps and nuthin else...
Which part of Durham are you in?
East Durham. Near Miami and 70.
got the bike maintainence done sooner that i expected, took a short first run of the new year...gassed her up and rode a loop of backroads...the XS1100 is now 35 yrs old and will be exempt from NC DMV inspections
She is running like a new bike to boot
This tag is still out there ...
24*....which idio....I mean which tough guy is grabbing tags today?
I'm sitting in my heated house,
with a small heater going also
and my nice hot coffee
not even driving to work..
it's cold out there...
I walked outside fully prepared, or so I thought, to ride to work. I mean, hell, I've ridden in the teens recently. The wind was just stupid though. When do I start getting all the global warming I've been paying for?
You've got to ride more to cause the "Global Warming" that will allow you to ride more......
Those global warming researchers in the arctic, got their boat stuck in ice, which wasn't supposed to be there, due to global warming.
It's a farce!
With the high barely cracking the freezing mark, I won't be riding today. It rained yesterday, and there is ice around here. My wife's car doors were frozen shut this AM. I figured by now, she'd wrap up her project in the garage and start parking there again.....
Boat is in the Antarctic, it's the other hemisphere - they have global cooling excuse instead
Nova Scotia on Explorer
Got the nc tag too.
New tag in a little while. I'll leave it in town. I won't drag it waaaaaay down to southeast wake county. Anyone need their shirts pressed?
Oh boy...just make sure they have a tailor...i need a new zipper on my winter ski jacket... BTW bike looks great in the bright sun..is that Purple or Blue? I'm a bit color blind...
Ben, I think technically it's called nuclear blue. But really it's 80's purple. When it's cleaned up and in the sun it almost changes colors from bright ass purple to dark blue as you walk around it. It's usually so dirty you can't even tell. I cleaned it up a little after doing some maintenance on it over the holidays.
I'll try not to leave it at a dry cleaners.
Hope you are doing well. Hope the job is still going well.
Same goes for everyone. Have a good weekend.
Yes Thankyou things are holding...Happy New Year!!! Tag whatever makes you feel good...
I've been doing that for years including owning several two strokes at a time. If it's all the same, I think I'm just going to go ahead and proclaim algore full of shit..
And it's, uh, summer in the Southern Hemisphere now, right???
If it hadn't been so windy, I'd have ridden this morning. Blessing in disguise, I guess. Norovirus hit with the weight of a 20# sledge hammer around 10:30. Would NOT have wanted to ride home trying to battle that feeling.
Southeast or Southwest Wake County will be fine!
