    Unless I missed it I did not see a thread for Trimble Outdoors. I've used this software with varying sucess. The biggest problem being it catching a signal in the first. Not a problem for most, but I live in the middle of nowhere. So far I have used this for hiking, but now will be using it for Dual-Sport. My intention is to map my area.
    As far as compatability I am at a loss, I don't know if other GPS routes can be translated to it or vice versa. I will add a link to my first route in The East tracks.

    GPSBabel will convert most anything GPS.
    Typically in this day and age any decent GPS will have good reception.
    The Trimble units are professional grade (and cost it) and as a result not well represented here.
