    Hey guys/ gals,

My name is Chris been on here for quite some time. Well i am asking for ADVriders help. Right at the start of the year my g/f and I broke up. No i will not go into details, and i am not here to vent about it. I am just looking to plan me a little 4-5 day trip on the XR to explore ????

Thats the thing, i have no idea where i want to go. I was thinking about the Texas Hill Country, or possibly NW Arkansas. I have the vacation, the weather isnt bad for this part of the country. I know i can do my best to survive whatever i get myself into. I am a 26 yr old, with the Dual Sport i have always wanted and i want to hit the road and explore on it. I will take a camera to post pics of my little adventure. Here are some of the thing i know i will need to bring.

    Small tool kit.
Spare 21in tube (been told it will work for the rear tire as well.)
    Spoons.
    Clothes
Money ( dont really plan on camping)
    water in my hydration pack.
    various other must haves.

But my real questions is which way should i go? I am in the Dallas Ft. Worth area.

    What say ye? :ear

I say straight West to the desert of NM and AZ. Why go someplace colder? See "What Next Wander Tour" in Ride Reports. We are in the hi 60s and 70s over here:D. Or to Big Bend?

Just caught the 4-5 day thing................ Not enough time to get outside of South TX really. Takes you 2 days to get out and 2 to get back home.:eek1. Maybe a future vacation?:clap
