I'm about to bugger off outside now, you are holding me up :evil .I'm way too polite to ignore you. Rocker boxes on ,clearances set , carbs & exhaust on. Oil lines next then electrical stuff. Getting there.

Are the stock pipes & shocks as bad as people say? Seems a bit silly to sell a bike that the new owners have to replace thing straight away - I mean they aren't in the DR/KLR price bracket.
Mind you maybe Triumph knows exactly what they're doing.

Suspension is crap , running the std exhaust, I got sick of the noise of my modded pipes. They were/are a styling exercise, dummies like me took it seriously. Still a fun bike, as are those beemers in the vid

Yeah been following the scrambler thread. Some are replacing with cheap ikons tho - do Triumph have their own line of aftermarket shocks like their arrow pipes?

They have tended to do deals with Ohlins, not sure if that option is available for the Scram. The Ikons are shite if you work the bike hard, they fade & blow seals, I went Ohlins without resevoirs. The bike is a keeper so I spent the money.
