Got the same exhaust and have been thinking about doing what you did. What do you think was causing that "chirp"?

Thanks, already read through there a few times. Best I could glean from the thread was the front caliper seals may work on the rear and it's still about $80 for parts.

I think this may be the problem: I don't really maintain brakes aside from visual pad inspections and brake fluid every other year. I guess I've got to get used to inspecting and cleaning calipers on the Triumph. My Scrambler doesn't lap up neglect and abuse like my Honda, I suppose. :)

I may spring for some pricey super-awesome brake lube instead of the general Valvoline chassis grease I normally use on everything. I'll report back when I get more miles on it with properly cleaned/lubed brakes. :clap

    G'day motoblag

I'd just hit the slide pins with some CRC brake clean or similar to clean the grime off, no lube. Lube will just act as a brake dust collector and compound your problem.

oh and a word of warning these products are hazardous to ones health in aerosols :deal so hold your breath :lol3

    cheers

Here are a few pics of my Scrambler, I blacked out a few things, removed the stock baffles, old style mx bars, black lucas tail light, and a single side bag.

I was wondering if anyone had seen a good solution to the front fender being mounted so low. (besides snapping it off :rofl)? I had a rock ride on the front TKC knobs and try to wedge under the front fender once... Scary for a second. I may just remove the fender for more "serious" back roading.

Looks great! What's the story with the sidecar on the second Scrambler? I've been dreaming of something like that to bring my dog along for some riding and camping with my girlfriend.

So this may have been done to death already but what did people get their scramblers for? I'm interested in new prices. I know it depends on the State and local tax but I'm looking at a 2012 floor model and would like a little knowledge. Thanks!

Hi everyone, been enjoying this thread and just picked up my 2012 flat black Scrambler yesterday! First thing I want to do is add a Zard Cross exhaust. I've heard they're not easy to come by in the US. Does anyone have a good lead on where I can find one (without a month wait - I'm not that patient )? Thanks!

I personally ordered directly from Zard Italy ( their website has a number) they spoke english and send it right away via DHL, no problems and a pleasure to deal with.

Where did you get that bag from? And how did you mount it?
