Last four days I have been riding in the Eifel (Germany).

You know I was about to make fun of your comment, when I looked at my '06 and saw the headers running flipped from that shown in the above photo. So, which way is the "right" way?
With mine, the bottom pipe connects to the right cylinder and the top pipe crosses under the right header and connects to the left cylinder. Maybe Arrow has started to make them differently? Hmmmm.....

Dallastx is right. The above scrambler has them crossed up. If your's is opposite of that your's is correct.

I've been thinking about installing aluminum fenders, a la Hammarhead Jack Pine.

Apparently, the Hammarhead business is no more.

Does anyone here have a source for good quality aluminum fenders?

    Thanks in advance.

This, uh, guy I know first put his header pipes on reversed. The mounting points don't all make sense that way so I ... I mean "he" ... finally figured that out and things fit much better and the middle mount matched up. But it comes pretty close and I might never have realized. ...I mean he might never have.

Check out the variations at 7 Metal West. Nice thick hand rolled aluminum, I used the cafe set up on my BMW /5 scrambler. http://www.7metalwest.com/motorcycle_parts.html

Where are you guys getting things like brake pads, oil filters and chain and sprocket sets? I am particularly interested in the last as I'd like to gear my Scrambler down a bit. Also, has anyone replaced the blinkers with LED lights? Sis you need adifferent flasher to make it work?

please, anywhere (on two wheels), but not here
British Customs for the gearing and chainage. All things oily, sticky, and-or, flashy through the local dealer.

if you click on that photo it will link you to a thread in "hacks". It is the beginnings of a subframe for a sidecar mount.

here is a look at the other side. I am going to fab a rubber mounted skid plate to mount to it...
