Hey Baja Dad
Lets see some moved up shocks ala 70's Maico or Bultaco on your Scrambler!
Hey guys, it's not the same exhaust or one of you did some mods on it?
If it's you Shining, I will be happy to learn what and how.
My shark exhaust is the Scrambler type, in higher position.
The other one is the bonneville type
Where do you order the scrambler version Shining?
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
I bought it used, sorry
It's the one I need.
If in Italy it comes with the good paper I think we had to make a deal together.
Are you sure there's a Scrambler version? I've never seen there are 2 versions, nowhere.
If someone has infos...
For the homologation paper, the one Shinning sent me is insufficient, if someone else has something...
Don't you have a Scram? Scram is not listed on your card. Damned.
Hi Henry, I noticed there is quite a difference between my pipe and Shining's.
When I ordered mine from Classicbike raisch, the pipes are listed for bonneville, thruxton and scrambler, all with the same part numbers. When fitted to the scrambler an additional mounting kit is required. The kit consists of 2 spacers and 2 longer bolts. The spacers go between the frame and the footrest mounting. This moves the footrest/brake out by 12mm to allow the pipe to clear the brake master cylinder.
It seems that the one on Shining bike have a higher mounting point at the rear footrest.
I think they didn't send you the same they show on there website. :huh
All reseller shows an exhaust that goes up at the end. Youre's straight.
And all claims it is homologated for the Scram but nobody has something to attest it.
This thing makes me tired.
Yes, on Shinning's the mounting plate at the footrest is horizontal as on Gumpt his it is vertical.
That's an other point you can see on website selling this exhaust, the most have the plate horizontally mounted.
Yes, I'm sure
On this web store, for example, yon can see three order options (bonneville, thruxton, scrambler)
with three different codes.
Shark homologation paper is only for bonneville type; in italian "Motorization office" it's a valid paper for thruxton and scrambler too, same engine
Here you can see another scrambler with shark retro/bahia scrambler type
I have been studying the pipe on Shining's bike and it is very different to mine. Mine has 2 springs joining the headers to the down pipe on the front of the headers, I think Shining's are at the back of his headers.
Shining's also has a joint with a spring near the brake pedal, the one on mine does not have a joint there, it is one pipe from the headers to the silencer.
I think mine is a bonneville one with some spacers to make it fit the Scrambler.
But I am happy with it, and that's all that matters!
Do you who is the author of attached photo or maybe you know if it's possible to buy it somewhere in high res.?
where can I buy or get permission to download and print this photo?

Looks like a Jack Pine but I think it's the bike from Heretic.
Yesterday I wrote to Shark and they tell me that my exhaust type is out of production
