I've led a trail ride (we call it "green laning") around the Salisbury area of the UK in the company of 9 KTMs of various shapes and one other T800XC.
The conditions were tricky in places because there had been some rain which filled all the puddles. Some very deep. The Tiger held its own very well. In fact I did a lot of waiting for the group to catch up.:evil
    Verdict? Very capable.:clap
A small taste of the ride....

There were some breakages so we were down to 6 for this photo...

On the XC, has anyone used the SW Motech sump guard with the Triump center stand? Are they compatible?

This is a good point. I wonder if my Tiger has been trouble-free for 10,600 miles because I did all my own service, including break-in... :evil

Well, hold on. I had the 500 service done at the dealer and my bike was good before and is still good after.
Although, I think I'll tell them to leave well alone when it comes to the 6K service.

Very nice black tiger. That's capable enough for me.

Was the KTM rider at the 46 second mark a member of The Ramblers?:evil His comment, followed by the bike nap at 1:08 made me :rofl. Good stuff.

    Great pics :clap

How did the Cycra guards fit ? Which bracket did you get in the end ? Did you have to bend them to fit ? I have some old Cycras that I may try to fit to the Tigger rather than get new Barkbusters if it's not too hard an installation.

Part one of the ride is up in my thread. The second half later or tomorrow. Really could have used a vise for bending. I made it work. They still need a little tweaking. Protection is great and I love the way they look! Yes, there will be bending and possible curse words involved. I got the the U-clamps for the KTM 03-09 Nekken bars.

    Thanks for the info :thumb

That's what I was afraid of. The Cycras I have came off my Husky so they are far from pristine anyway and add in the fact I will need new clamps and plastic bits and the aggro I will have fitting them, I figure I'll just get the Barkbusters.

Have I mentioned I hate installing bar guards :lol3

I've been following this thread religiously. Anybody with a Tiger 800 road have the stalling issue? Just curious, as I've recently learned that the XC has a different tune installed.
