I did a little Janderburing to test out the DR. I suppose if you can have fun there with the wrong bike and no skills I figure anyone could have a good time. I guess I missed the treacherous spot where you break bones.....

If you want to break some bones you have to 1 : go faster :augieand 2 : fall off while going faster:muutt. That's the secret . Take it from someone who knows.

Seriously though I'm so jealous and going stir crazy sitting in this stupid recliner. Looks like a great time.

Way to break in the new bike without actually breaking anything!

After nearly a month off due to injury

( the team manager / lead mechanic / primary sponsor / team driver / equipment manager / Dad broke his collarbone recently and was under the knife for the last race.)

Flyin' Ryan Carroll is ready to resume his quest for a winning season.

Due to Dad's busted wing causing a missed race and thus missed points . Ryan will be focused on that #1 this week.

So come on out and and enjoy some fine weather and fine racing this Friday "Cinco de Mayo". As always cold free beer and an extra chair will be waiting in my pit for any ADV riders.

Practice starts at 6. Races start at 7:30 ish.
Bring out the yunguns' if you can because dirt bike races are the coolest dad. You'll get to be hero for the day and enjoy some free beer boot.

Bump to the top of the point standings tonight for #145 Flyin' Ryan Carroll !

After fueling up our tanks on street tacos in honor of Cinco de Mayo. IMG_20170505_164720.jpg

Ryan and I booked it to the track to get set up and ready to race.

Heat race. Ryan gets the holeshot and leads the whole race for the win!

Main. Ryan blasts out first and looks like the holeshot is in the bag, but wait. #90 Eric Ellis wants this one bad and comes screaming into turn one at warp speed. Eric managed to keep it barely on the track and on 2 wheels to steal the start away.

Not to be deterred. Ryan settles in tight behind him for lap 1. Start of lap 2 #145 positions himself slightly outside in turn one and rockets past #90 on the back straight while jumping the tabletop. GREAT PASS SON!

After the epic pass Ryan rides a smart and consistent race to the podium. IMG_20170505_215553.jpg

This 1st place puts him up 24 points for the season over a field of 11 other riders.

Thanks Newner for coming out, cheering him on and sharing a few cold ones.

Yes, do you need a spare? I got tired of looking at it in the garage setting there with no big trips planned. I can find another bike that is better suited to take me to the bar every Tuesday night.

I could actually, not that much room in the garage...
If you wanted to sell off some of those fancy parts I might be interested though.

A good buddy down in Tejas is looking for one, Ill send him the craigs add and see if he has any play $$ this month.

Here is the winning run from yesterday.

Here is the 2016 winning car. Better perspective than the helmet cam. 4cyl, 2.0L 600HP Honda. The sound is incredible!
