Anyone intrested in racing and beer, the Janderburs fall youth series is racing tonight Sat Sept 16 at 7:30 pm. Practice starts at 6. Flyin'Ryan and crew will be there giving 100% on an updated track . Should be a good time. 145, 201.jpg

Sorry for the last minuet announcement and I wish it wasn't so damned hot.

As veteran BlackJack Enduro racers, @Newner and I were encouraged to do the short course on Peterhansel’s ISDE WR250.

We were also granted VIP access to one of the checks deep in the woods where no photography was allowed. I managed to sneak a pic.

The looks and thumbs-up from some of the racers when they saw us on the transfer trail was priceless. I think I heard someone say “Lafferty is a chump” as I caught some sick air across a creek bed.

I was down at check 10 for a while today. Had to go down and give a few of those guys a hard time.... Including Dick.

I don’t know which check we were at, but it was the start of section 5.

Check 10 was through the gate where Dick was and go down the hill and into the trees.

It was good to see you guys out there. We must have done something right as most everyone was smiling even if their tongues were hanging out a bit when they came out of the tests. About 450 riders and I heard one complaint and one 'almost' complaint. Our biggest help may have come from the weather. Had we got any more rain the night before it could've sucked. The way it was just kept the dust down. Gotta love the Zink Ranch folks and Darton Zink's desire to continue the racing heritage on the ranch for allowing us to do it. Pretty unique in this day and time.

It was a National. I think I lied though in that we had over 450 sign ups but I think it was right at 400 that made the start. Best in the USof A by golly. Amazing how fast those guys go in the woods. There's a pretty cool short video on the NEPG site and some very good photography by Oklahoma's own, Shan Moore. http://www.nationalenduro.com/news/2017/10/17/nepg-video-from-the-zink-ranch
