Good luck - and steer clear of these:
Dang! you beet me to it. Have a great ride guy's, looking forward to the report.
Blahhhhh! I hate cows! That full frontal gives me the willies. It's barely been a year. My hands are 95% and probably that's were they'll stay. I have a little trouble with small nuts and bolts and screws but I am managing to operate quite well. It's just the dexterity is lacking from what it was, I used to be the 'go to' guy for fiddling with little stuff.
Also have very low down back pain, probably a nerve, that comes and goes. Usually comes at bed time and goes when I get up!
You guys are funny...................NOT
I'm a vegetarian too if that makes it any funnier.
I might be tempted to reconsider.
Great looking bikes, have a safe and memorable journey!
The bike look great. Have fun. What's your route to Yuma?

Hey Ratman! We met you at Betakakin Ruin. You were with that guy with the funny name, like a kids name I think it was. I was on my black BMW R1150GS and Colleen was on her mustard R1150GS. Both sold now, we got 1200's.
This trip of course is on the DR650's, such a better choice.
We will slab 10 to Indio then take 86 to the 8, we just want to get it done. We've seen most everything in that quadrant, it's our stomping grounds.
want to see this:
We got a spot if anyone wants to follow along.
Yes, sure enough, Colleen is ready
I'm not new to this you know, I'm getting pretty good at it.
I had to lay her down.
Ha-ha... we were on our way to the Dust to Dawson rally in the Northern Yukon Territory and on the Top of the World Highway... Rain, mud, slick, ruts, pot holes.... all the good stuff!
This photo makes me laugh because as James began to 'pick up his bike', I yelled "Wait" and James thought, oh good, she's coming to help me pick it up. But, actually, I was going in my top box for my camera and didn't want to miss catching this photo op!
Top of the World Highway, one of the most Northern highways in the world. Granted this has nothing to do with our Tierra del Fuego ride (which is on the other end of the spectrum) just chatting and waiting for Monday morning to be here! Colleen
Where are you in So. Cal. and what are you doing up at 3:30 a.m.?
Hi Colleen, I'm in Pasadena, and I have no idea why I'm awake . Why are you up?
I'm in! Have fun & good luck!
We're crossing the border on the 17th. We're going to wiggle our way between Chihuahua, Durango, Mazatlan!
Chat away. This sounds like it will be a fun ride & it's added to the dozen others I'm currently reading.
We will subscribe to this thread, and follow along!
Have fun, be safe, and know that we are thinking about you both!
Billy and Stacie
PS...We had a good laugh over the Top of the World photo! We will never forget the day the two of you rode into Dawson City! Good times!
